God’s Blueprint for Raising Children

God’s Blueprint for Raising Children Parenting is more than providing for children—it is a sacred responsibility to shape their hearts and guide them toward God. Scripture gives us five essential principles for raising godly children. 1. Discipline — Proverbs 13:24 Biblical discipline is correction motivated by love. It establishes healthy boundaries, teaches responsibility, and protects children from destructive choices. Discipline should restore and guide, never humiliate or abuse. 2. Training — Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go.” Training requires consistency, repetition, and example. Children learn not only from what parents say, but also from what they see. We must model the faith, character, and conduct we desire to see in them. 3. Teaching — Isaiah 54:13 “All your children shall be taught by the Lord.” Parents should create homes where God’s Word, prayer, and worship are part of everyday life. While parents provide instruction, we must also trust the Holy Spirit to personally reveal God to our children. 4. Identity in God — Psalm 100:3 Children must know that they were created by God and belong to Him. Their identity should not be determined by popularity, achievements, failures, or society’s opinions. When children know whose they are, they can confidently discover who they are. 5. Parenting in Unity — Malachi 2:15 God desires godly offspring. Parents must therefore pursue unity in faith, values, discipline, and direction. Unity does not mean parents will never disagree; it means they resolve differences with love and present a consistent foundation to their children. God’s blueprint does not require perfect parents—it requires prayerful, obedient, and intentional parents. When discipline, training, teaching, godly identity, and parental unity work together, the home becomes fertile ground for raising a generation that knows, loves, and serves the Lord.

Signs You Are Ready for Spiritual Deliverance

Many believers walk through life feeling weighed down by invisible chains—recurring patterns of defeat, unexplainable fear, or spiritual stagnation. At DTSM Phoenix, we believe that Jesus came not only to save us but to set us completely free. 1. You Feel Stuck in Cycles If you find yourself facing the same “Goliath” year after year despite prayer and fasting, it may be a sign of a spiritual stronghold that requires specific deliverance.+1 2. Your Dreams Are Troubled Spiritual oppression often manifests in the night season. Frequent nightmares or feeling attacked in your sleep are common indicators that your spirit is seeking freedom. 3. You Struggle with Uncontrollable Emotions Sudden outbursts of anger, deep depression, or paralyzing anxiety that feel “foreign” to your character often have spiritual roots rather than just emotional ones. 4. There is a History of Patterns in Your Family Do you see the same struggles with divorce, addiction, or poverty in your parents and grandparents? Breaking generational curses is a core pillar of our ministry here in Phoenix. 5. You Have a Deep Hunger for More of God Often, the strongest sign that you are ready for deliverance is a holy dissatisfaction. You know there is more “fire” and “authority” available in your walk with Christ, but something is blocking the way. Conclusion Deliverance is the “children’s bread.” It is your right as a believer to walk in total victory.
